Proxima-Serv is a DarkOrbit private server rebuilt in HTML5 and actively developed by Wolf_Fr since 2024. Our goal: preserve what made original DarkOrbit great while expanding it's content, new systems, exclusive content, quality-of-life improvements, and regular updates. Instead of completely reinventing DarkOrbit, Proxima aim at adding content that feels like it could've existed in the OG DarkOrbit. Adding new ships, quests, events, progression systems, or gameplay features, everything is ment to bring back players memories and create new. Proxima also understands that some players doesn't like customized DarkOrbit experience and prefer fully vanilla. While the game includes custom ships, visuals, and content, every players has the ability to choose between Proxima experience or the OG mode that replaces non-vanilla content with classic DarkOrbit assets and visuals, Choosable between 2012-2013 style and 2014-2015. This allow every players to enjoy the experience like they want it feel, That it be the old-school experience or the incredible contents Proxima has to offer.
